Can't find Bullseye or Unique anywhere?

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger!

As for Bullseye, IMR makes a series of powders that closely mimic several by Alliant (so close, in fact, that the same info can often be used for both powders). These include IMR Red, Blue, Green, Unequaled*, and Target (I think you see the obvious connections here). Target is the IMR version of Bullseye. In fact, they are right next to each other on most burn-rate charts. While I can't find Bullseye anywhere, I have found Target at Natchez and Powder Valley for a reasonable price.

*Unfortunately, it appears NO ONE stocks Unequaled. So that option for Unique is off the table.

As for a replacement for Unique, a place called Bartlett Reloaders (http://www.gibrass.com/gunpowder.html) stocks a powder made by Lovex in the Czech Republic that is nearly identical to Unique called BR-5 (no Hee Haw jokes, please). The price is $99/6# jug.

    Good info

I have a jug of unopened Bullseye. Give never loaded or shot Bullseye. This was given to me, when I bought 22 canisters of Trail Boss. Guy had inherited it all from his Dad. Only thing he reloaded was long range rifle, with a couple powders.

I have used a lot of Green Dot, Unique and Herco.

UPS delivered my 6# jugs of BR-2 and BR-5 powders from Bartlett Reloaders this evening. Merry Christmas to me!

While chatting with someone on another board who had ordered Ultimate Pistol powder from Shooter's World Powders, I realized something when I looked at the loading data PDF. BOTH the BR powders, and the Shooter's World powders are made by Lovex in the Czech Republic.

Therefore, the BR-2 powder is the same as the SW Clean Shot powder, and the BR-5 powder is the same as the SW Ultimate Pistol powder.
